The problem Jan Adhikar, Voice Your Choice solves

Jan Adhikar , Voice Your Choice, is a project where every citizen of the country above the age 18 can choose what projects he/she wants in his/her locality or city or village.

Here we have basically made a website where people can login using their Adhhar number and they get a otp to their phone number , through which they can login. Then accourding to their location in the Adhhar details they will be displayed with latest projects in their city. They can upvote or downvote depending upon weather that project is needed or not. And he/she can also see the results of the project after a set duration is completed.

We also have an admin page where he can add new projects and can see the votes.(mind only admin can see the votes at any time, other citizens can see only after the time is over).

We have linked the voting system to ethereum testnet with solidity smart contract and also using hardhat. We have used blockchain so that no one can tamper the votes.

Now for our project we have used MongoDB local database to store deatils of the projects and the people of India(mind only small numbers of people and projects were used for time being).

PROBLEMS IT SOLVES:
1-- "For the people, by the people, to the people", here people can vote for the projects that is useful to them and the country.
2-- Reduces the corruption as only a MLA, MP, or a DC or a Minister cant approve the project, here peoples votes matter.In future we are planning to implement idding system which will reduce the corruption levels drastically.
3-- Unwanted projects are removed

FUTURE PLANS:
1-- Once the project is selected by the people, any contracter intrested in that project can bid and people can see his/her track record, quality of work, materials used, cost etc to select the builder or the contracters.
2-- This project shoulb be implemented by the government or shoulb be backed by it.

Challenges we ran into

1-- Linking blockchain to our frontend was hard.
2-- creating and deploying the smart contract.
