The problem I-Speak solves

Improving Awareness and Behaviour Track:

1)Currently.the world is fighting against COVID-19 pandemic.
2)So,in current scenario, many countries(won't take name) are hiding the number of cases and also the cause of this virus.
3)Most of the media houses are biased towards a particular organization or government.
4)So,due to censorship rules,they show only those information which they want to show to normal people.
5)e.g.Dr.Li not allowed to report virus,Social Gatherings during Lockdown
6)The real news is always hidden from normal people thus keeping them in illusion.
7)So, I-Speak is a platform where proper reporters have the right to express the happenings by giving real,true and verified information in decentralized way with proper proof.
The proof can be any file or image stored onto decentralized storage IPFS which indexes the file with the help of unique hash for a particular file.
8)The info will be verified by authorities and companies (e.g dpa,correctv,bbc etc.) and only after verification it will be displayed to normal users.
9)Currently, this reporting happens but in a centralized way so identity of the reporter is known and exposed to everyone.
10)So, this poses a huge threat to the life and health of person who reported as his identity is known.
11)Using I-Speak . your identity is never exposed as it uses Ethereum Blockchain which is decentralized so you can write out safely ,the true facts and information.
12)So,this will be single trusted source for users rather than Whatsapp forwards thus bringing a transparency between people and government.

13)This dapp is built using (Matic + Ethereum) blockchain and our smart contract is deployed onto Matic Testnet v3.
14)The biggest advantage of using Matic Testnet v3 is we can make (sending and calling) transactions at 0 Ether
so there is no cost to normal users and common people.
15)So, this dapp can be easily scalable with no cost to users and along with security and privacy which will be beneficial to users

Challenges we ran into

1)Integrating IPFS storage with this dapp was a big challenge but finally got over it with the help of online resources and its documentation.
2)React has got update so I faced some UI errors.
3)Cards in Semantic UI react were displayed vertically but solved it using Card Groups.
4)Errors faced while making a short demo of this.
5)One bug was to reverify news again from start on Verifiers page to maintain count but i solved it using a array and for loop logic.
6)But , on idea level there are no bugs as this idea can create a huge impact when deployed.
