5ire Reborn

The redesigned landing page for 5ire network is a stunning visual experience that showcases cutting-edge design and engaging animations to onboard or at least keep users engaged in the world of web3.

The problem 5ire Reborn solves

Right now the biggest concern of web3 is onboarding new users and this project attempts to solve some of the pain points that usually users face when the land on a web3 site.

  • User onboarding and retention : Most of the web3 platforms and tool sites look intimidating to new users, especially with words like Wallets, IPFS and tokens. And even though that is not escapable, what might help a user and make them spend a little more time with the new concepts or tools is, an exciting UI, just a sense of intrigue goes a long way than curiosity. This re-designed site tries to make the whole feel of the landing page very fresh and casual with animations, bright colours, handwritten typography, cool NFT images simple diagrammatical explanations. Even if they are not using the tech right away, they will hang around a little while just to explore the whole site, which is much more realistic than aiming to onboard new users with documentation and feature demos.

  • Faster and snappier page transitions for better user experience

  • Whitepaper explainer page

  • Sustainability Awareness - A lot of web3 products right now are aiming for sustainability and following UN's SDGs, and a huge part of that procedure is making your existing and new user base aware of these conventions. So instead of just attaching an image of UN's 17 SDGs in a site or showing some statistics, which most users just ignore, we have tried to re-imagine what is the best way to pass the message across, which is through interactivity. By providing an interactive globe with messages all over the world, users are more likely to spend a little more time with the concept, which at the end of the day is our motive.

All in all, the aim of this whole re-designing is giving a web3 platform a more casual vibe, while efficiently engaging and retaining users and telling the story of the product in a more interactive way, which creates a deeper and long lasting connection.

Challenges we ran into

  • Had a tough time making the interactive globe work with the intended data, as we've never worked with three.js before.
  • Trying to come up with a smooth and satisfying theme for the whole site while still keeping the technical content there.
