One major challenge was accurately fetching and processing Farcaster posts for IQ analysis. The Farcaster API has rate limits and sometimes returns incomplete data for new or very active users. This caused some IQ scores to be inaccurate or not update in real-time.

How We Overcame It:

We implemented a two-layer fetching system:

Initial Snapshot: On first visit, we fetch the latest posts using the API.

Background Sync: We run a lightweight background job that retries for missing data in smaller batches, respecting rate limits.

We also added caching so repeated IQ checks don’t require fresh API calls unless the 7-day cooldown has passed. This not only fixed accuracy issues but also significantly improved performance and user experience.
