The problem IPEHR solves
Electronic medical records and data craves the need for innovation. The way patient health records are stored and secured today do not showcase our technological advancement in this area in the past decade, and hospitals continue to use age-old data management systems for patient data. The rudimentary problem of long lost medical health record is what we are trying to solve through our IpEHR (inter-planetary electronic heath record) api.
Challenges we ran into
Our team wasn't familiar with the new GoLang programming language that was an essential part of our project.
There were some issues while integratingthe ethereum blockchain onto our system.
FileCoin/IPFS had their own challenges.
This was our first time using SwaggerUI for the visiualisation of our api.
