The problem Investo solves

Some investors want to identify great startups at an early stage and invest in them in order to be a part of their future growth and to generate wealth. There are also startup entrepreneurs who require investors to get funding for their business. This web app gives both of them a platform to find and connect with each other.

For Investors

• They can search for Startups in the Startups Search page.
• They can use various filters to filter out their search results and find the startups which they want to invest in.
• They can watchlist the startups to keep updated of the news and various changes done in that business.

For Startup Founders

• They can create a Company Profile of their Startup, with all the necessary details and documents that an Investor needs to know about the business.

Challenges we ran into

We were facing some GitHub errors in the beginning, but successfully solved all of them.
There were also some problems faced by the main members of the team to find good team members, some joined and left after knowing the idea, and some for inactive, so we removed them. But we got good team members at right time and worked hard for two days after deciding on the design and functioning of the app.
Towards the end, we faced some bugs and issues due to the unclarity of the developer but we figured it out and finally created the web app without any major issues.
However, we couldn't make the web app responsive due to a lack of time and skills. And the app was very different in the final stage and not at par with the design, some of the icons were missing, and the search page wasn't correctly according to the design, but our teammates worked hard with dedication to complete that project.

This was a great experience, first time for most of us, and we learnt many things like teamwork, GitHub collaboration and a lot more
