The problem InvestIn solves

InvestIn is an app to connect investors who are looking to invest in any area to genuine startups seeking investments.

Problem Statement:

There are many startups today who are working on innovative ideas which could change the world but are not able to get access to the required resources and funds to continue developing their product.
At the same time, there are several investors who are willing to invest in innovation but find it very difficult to find these ideas.

How InvestIn Solves This Problem:

  • Central tracking:
We propose the addition of an extra feature to the already existing Startup Registration Portal for genuine investors to register. This will enable the government to centrally track all registered startups and investors in a single place.

  • Data-Driven:
Through the use of ML/AI algorithms, we recommend startups to investors and vice versa based on their preferences and previous historical data, helping them find the best match.

  • Safe and Secure:
We provide a safe space for investors and startups to connect and interact via chat, audio or video conferencing, giving both parties control over the interaction. The parties can then decide the best further course of action.

What makes InvestIn stand out:

  • No Fraud: Only genuine government-registered startups and investors will be allowed to register on the portal.
  • Easy Investment and Wide Array of options for both parties: Investors and startups have many options to choose from and can easily connect with each other with mutual consent from both parties.
  • Integrated: An integrated platform where investors can find their best match by leveraging past data and their preferences
  • Easy Onboarding: Any new investor or startup can easily register and start using InvestIn.

Challenges we ran into

The team has a background in engineering, and we did not have a detailed idea of how the investment process takes place initially.
We took it as a learning opportunity and did research on the current hurdles in the process and used our technical knowledge to come up with this idea.
