The problem INTERVU solves
In traditional hiring processes, both candidates and recruiters face significant challenges. Candidates undergo long, exhausting interviews, often leading to burnout, while recruiters struggle with inconsistencies, biases, and inefficiencies in evaluation.
InterVu was designed to address these issues by leveraging AI for structured, unbiased, and adaptive interview experiences
Challenges we ran into
1.Candidate Discomfort with AI Interviews → Made AI more conversational and natural.
2.Generic Responses from Candidates → Introduced dynamic follow-ups to push for detailed answers.
3.Skepticism from Recruiters on AI Replacing Intuition → Provided side-by-side comparisons proving AI’s consistency.
4.AI Misunderstanding Context-Specific Answers → Trained AI on domain-specific knowledge for better comprehension.
5.Adaptive Questioning Felt Stressful to Some → Implemented gradual difficulty scaling to ease pressure.
6.AI Struggled to Predict Skill Gaps Accurately → Used historical data to refine question difficulty adjustments.
