The problem Intelligent Supplychain Management solves
Our solution streamlines the supply management process by enabling suppliers to seamlessly list products on a marketplace and allowing employees to purchase them with decentralized payments. The system automatically converts dollar values to equivalent ETH, ensuring secure and transparent transactions. Additionally, employees can list purchased products in the warehouse and leverage AI-driven sales predictions to anticipate future demand, making it easier to manage inventory, avoid stockouts, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
Challenges I ran into
One significant challenge we encountered was ensuring accurate conversion of dollar amounts to ETH during the payment process. Given the volatility of cryptocurrency prices, we needed to ensure that the correct equivalent amount was transferred at the time of purchase. To overcome this, we integrated Chainlink's decentralized oracles to fetch real-time price data, allowing us to perform precise conversions and execute payments seamlessly. This integration not only solved the issue but also enhanced the reliability and security of the payment system.
