Our project aims to reduce the educational disparities that disadvantaged people experience by giving them access to free education and useful skills. We acknowledge that these people frequently are unable to receive high-quality education because of socioeconomic limitations. By providing free education, we lift the financial burden of education, enabling underserved populations to access educational opportunities and resources that were previously closed to them. Our platform, which provides courses in technical skills, entrepreneurship, and computer literacy, is dedicated to empowering people via skill development. We support the use of technology to design dynamic, interesting learning experiences that accommodate various learning preferences. Our project also needs mentorship and assistance, which are crucial elements. Students are guided by seasoned mentors and volunteers who offer career guidance and inspiration. We work with NGOs and local leaders to reach the people who will benefit the most, and we monitor and evaluate our progress to determine our impact. We work to close the education gap and build a more inclusive and fair society by removing obstacles, giving people the tools they need, and encouraging community partnerships.
As our first hackathon as a team, running into problems was a given fact. The most common one, getting into merge conflicts. It did take some patience and if i may add, some beautiful teamwork and thus we were able to clear it.
Another one, we ran into problems while fetching info from json files, a little bit help from StackOverflow and thus we easily solved it.
Lastly, the most major issue was when we couldn't deploy our website. Hosting it from github and we ran into some problems. However, we solved it by hosting the website in none other than Firebase. Firebase really saved us from our most major problem.
