It is a decentralized blog platform. One of the unique selling propositions of the platform is that it uses hexads to incentivize content creators as well as the readers of the platform. This follows the business model where the ad viewers get rewarded if they view any ad. The other unique feature of the platform is that articles can be minted as NFTs and be sold to publications. This enables the users of the platform to transfer the benefits of owning an article/ blog among other users/ publications. All the articles are stored on the IPFS, So inherently it becomes decentralized and promotes free speech.
As we are all primarily web2 developers who are just starting to learn web3, we faced a lot of hindrances during the developmental process. Being able to manage time to complete the tasks as per the plans
Doing a main stream robust web 3 application or product has always been in our teams bucket list. As we are coming from and fairly knowledgeable in web 2 we always thought bridging to web 3.0 and making a production ready app would be a fairly easy feat. But as we were culminating our ideas and brainstorming a really good app that has features that really solve the some real world problem was not an easy feat. Understanding and idealizing the ideas on this space was really making us think out loud. When we came up with the idea of creating a robust ad delivery solution we thought it would be pretty much easy to implement because we already know the working of the normalized ad devlivery services offered by companies like google by just porting it.
