Private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investments have proven to be lucrative investments but have high entry barriers for investors. These investments require significant amounts of capital to be locked up for several years, and as a result, often only the wealthiest 1% of the population are able to invest in this space. Through the application of blockchain technology, investment companies can tokenize funds, moving them onto a blockchain. Financial firms can then offer investors the opportunity to engage in secure and transparent transactions and to invest in more liquid shares — shares that have lower minimum investment thresholds, lower transaction fees, and higher transaction speeds.Founders often face significant challenges in securing funding, including difficulty accessing the right investors, building trust and credibility, navigating complex due diligence processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficiently using funds, gaining visibility, and providing liquidity and exit strategies for investors. Our platform Innohunt, addresses these issues by leveraging AI for investor matchmaking, incorporating a reputation scoring system, streamlining due diligence with AI tools, integrating legal and compliance services with smart contracts, facilitating milestone-based funding, and offering tokenized equity for liquidity. This comprehensive approach empowers founders to connect with suitable investors, build trust, manage funding effectively, and enhance their chances of successful investment and growth.
As part of our team, each of us took on distinct roles in developing our project. While I focused on frontend development, my colleague delved into AI integration, and another handled blockchain integration and smart contract deployment. From my standpoint, crafting the frontend presented several challenges. Ensuring a seamless user experience while incorporating blockchain and AI functionalities required meticulous planning and execution. Real-time updates and security measures added layers of complexity, demanding constant vigilance to maintain integrity and user trust. Meanwhile, my colleague working on AI integration encountered hurdles in interoperability and performance optimization. Integrating AI models with the blockchain ecosystem posed unforeseen challenges, especially regarding data privacy and the efficient processing of large datasets. On the other hand, our teammate responsible for blockchain integration and smart contract deployment navigated issues related to Solidity, gas optimization, and version control. Network congestion and rising gas fees often impeded smooth deployment, while ensuring the contracts' security and upgradability required careful consideration. Despite these challenges, collaborative problem-solving and relentless testing enabled us to overcome obstacles and deliver a robust, integrated solution to our stakeholders.
