The problem Infographic.ME solves
Texts that are visually unattractive and difficult to read can be transformed into a more interactive and concise format, making it easier for the reader to grasp and providing motivation for engagement. This approach not only enhances readability but also proves highly valuable for revision purposes.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a bunch of hurdles that we tried to debug on the way. We were facing the problem of information loss as the entire pdf was being summarized into a few words, which we resolved by first listing important topics from the given text and then generating summarized text based on these topics from the model trained specifically on the pdf. Another problem we faced was using the LlaMa2 model to generate our prompts and text but ran into a time constraint which we fixed by using a cloud based approach like google's PaLM API.
