Most introductions to crypto revolve around investing or technical nerdsplaining.

"Impact Onboarding" attracts new onchain users by meeting people where their passions are. This approach rewards positive impact in local communities and uses that as an opportunity to educate on relevant use cases and values of crypto. Targeting emerging economies also helps to plant a seed for other use cases like transacting with local vendors or receiving remittances.

Most of this social and environmental work is self-funded and contributors donate their time and energy in absence of funds to offer compensation for this work. By using crypto to fund this impact, we can show the world that crypto natives are willing to fund the work many governments are unable or unwilling to.
