The problem iMitra solves

iMitra is a powerful and innovative mobile application designed to assist visually impaired individuals in India. Challenges I ran into

Object Detection: iMitra utilizes Google's ML Kit to detect and identify objects in real-time. With just a tap of a button, users can receive audio descriptions of their surroundings, enabling safer navigation.

Braille Script-based Learning Keypad: iMitra provides a user-friendly Braille script-based learning keypad. It allows visually impaired individuals to learn and practice Braille script using their mobile devices, fostering their literacy skills and independence.

Emergency SOS: In critical situations, iMitra includes an emergency SOS feature. Users can quickly trigger an alert, notifying designated contacts and emergency services for immediate assistance.
