The problem Image Captioning solves

The applications of image captioning using deep learning techniques are image search tools, guidance devices and can also be used in self-driving cars. There are many approaches for captioning an image, our model would help to be more efficient in time that takes less time to generate a caption for a given image.

Challenges I ran into

The evaluation metric had been a hurdle that we ran into while solving the problem. We were able to get over it by increasing the size of the dataset and by increasing the number of epochs in the model for training our data.
