The problem IDEM solves

Driver drowsiness accounts for approximately 100,000 accidents per year in the United States alone as reported by The American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The problem statement of our project is to reduce these numbers by creating an innovative solution.

Challenges we ran into

1. Had difficulty running Android things operating system due to complicated user interface and programming methods.
2. Running the on cloud algorithm for recognition of facial expressions consumed a lot of time.
