The problem 5ID solves

Sharing sensitive files securely over a public network without having any intermediate servers which are vulnerable to sniffing and hacks. This application is vital while sharing sensitive documents between two parties such as organizations (particularly govt and military), sharing legal documents, health data, sensitive information, Identification documents, etc.

Challenges we ran into

Insufficient Documentation was one major hurdle we had to cross. Running Proxy re-encryption nodes over the network was challenging as we needed to run several active nodes over the polygon network (localhost for testing), thus making it difficult to integrate with the frontend, as well as maintain reasonable speed of application,
