Lack of Motivation: Many people struggle with organizing and managing their tasks, often failing to achieve their goals due to insufficient motivation. By introducing a deposit system with ICP coins, users are financially incentivized to complete their tasks.
Absence of Accountability: When setting and pursuing personal goals, there is often a lack of external accountability. Using ICP coins as a deposit system provides strong external accountability, encouraging users to follow through with their tasks.
Improved Task Management Efficiency: Traditional ToDoList applications simply list and check off tasks. The ICP-powered project offers a higher level of management and rewards, enabling users to manage their schedules and goals more systematically and efficiently.
Challenges I ran into
Implementing Smart Contracts: We encountered difficulties in implementing the deposit system using ICP coins due to the complexity of smart contracts and the necessity for a deep understanding of blockchain technology.
Solution: We overcame this by thoroughly studying smart contracts and blockchain principles. Utilizing online resources and seeking help from community forums, we successfully implemented ICP smart contracts.
User Interface Design: Creating an intuitive interface that users can easily understand and interact with was challenging, especially with the complexity of the deposit system.
Solution: We conducted multiple user tests and gathered feedback to improve the interface. Through iterative design and refinement, we gradually developed a user-friendly design.
