The problem WinWaste solves

Win-Waste is a one stop solution for all your E-Waste. Win-Waste ia an easy and quick solution for the proper disposal of the E-Waste so that it doesn’t harm our environment. Every year millions of metric tons of E-Waste is disposed of with the household decomposable waste. Household waste is often decomposable and doesn’t harm but electronic components or old devices do not easily decompose because of the materials such as plastic, glass, rare metals such as gold which takes years to decompose. Also, many times people sell their old electronic items such as non-working monitors, mobile phones to street garbage collectors who often attempt to extract rare and precious earth metals such as gold and silver from there items by burning them. However, during the process of burning there is al release of huge carbon content into the air too from burning of these items. Thus, improper disposal of really poses a huge risk for our ecosystem by adding unwanted pollutants both in soil, water and air which is making our life difficult to live by giving us the slow poison with the air we breathe food we eat. To counter all such problems here comes our very own solution Win-Waste which provides door to door E-Waste collection facility and reward the customer for using our service. Whenever, customer opens our website he gets an option to either sign in our sign up if he is a new customer. From there he/she can fill a simple form where they can place request for our executive to visit their premises and collect the E-Waste and pay them back either digitally or in cash based on the physical examination of the items. Within 24 hours selling the E-Waste they get rewards point credited to their account which they could redeem from the customer dashboard. Our website also offers the facility of redeeming the points from dashboard itself. Customer can use points to get vouchers of their favorite e-commerce sites such as Amazon or Flipkart and place order using those vouchers.

Challenges we ran into

1.Placing the things in their correct order was a big task for us because we have used flex box in this which is quite a typical thing.
2.For designing the CSS for each component was a bit difficult because some times when we have written CSS,it didn't affect the required component.
3.Linking of pages was also a hard task because we haven't used the a tag directly,we used a tag in the button which reflects the a tag so it was quite difficult task for us.
4.While adding an mp4 file as a background in the register page we encountered many bugs as we went beyond our abilities to do something new.
