The problem HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM solves

  1. By providing online application for hostel, automatically
    select the students from the waiting list and mess calculation, complaint registration, notice
    board etc. etc. Students will get approval notification in their mails. Hostellers can view
    notice board, hostel fee and mess menu by login into the online system.
  2. To process allotment list.
  3. To make it easier for data collection, storage and referencing reliable.
  4. To maintain the students as hostellers and waiting list students separately.

Challenges we ran into

To maintain such a huge database by using SQL we have to create so many tables and connections in localhost using xampp. We took the help from different sources to learn more about PHP, for backend development we took the idea from github.
