The problem Homies solves

The problem statement demands a flexible reliable solution to connect tenants of similar interests and bring them together.
We create a channel of communication between people who want to find roommates. We also provide a feature that helps people find apartments that already have living tenants. We match potential roommates based on the various compatibility field that we ask them on sign-up. Thus people can have an affordable living and easily get in touch with similar people who they can be roommates with.

Challenges we ran into

The compatibility feature between tenants was difficult to implement. Video call integration was also a bit of a hurdle. We ran into some horrendous bugs when integrating the API. Two-step verification also caused some problems.
