The problem Holboxathon Scheduler solves
Many professionals and students struggle with scheduling multiple appointments and tasks in a day. Holboxathon Scheduler leverages AI to generate optimized scheduling suggestions, reducing conflicts and maximizing productivity. It automatically suggests the best slots for meetings and activities based on user input, helping users manage their time more efficiently.
Challenges I ran into
The project originally integrated the Google Generative Language (Gemini API) to generate optimized scheduling suggestions. However, while working on integrating the API, I faced strict free-tier quota limitations. The technical setup was solid, but financial constraints prevented enabling billing for extended usage. In a real-world scenario, this issue could be resolved with a paid plan. As a result, the API integration was removed, though the technical implementation was fully functional before the quota limit was reached. If billing were enabled, the scheduling system would work as intended without interruptions. This challenge taught me valuable lessons about balancing technical feasibility with financial limitations
