The problem HireMatch solves
Our project aims to revolutionize the hiring process for companies while offering valuable opportunities for individuals to gain experience through collaborative projects. The platform allows users to create profiles detailing their qualifications, skills, and desired positions. Companies register and outline their hiring requirements. Our algorithm matches candidates with suitable job listings or project partnerships based on compatibility. When a match is found, both parties are notified, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
In addition to traditional hiring, our platform also facilitates project partnerships. Users seeking project partners can specify the skills they require, and our algorithm matches them with individuals possessing those skills but perhaps lacking in experience. This fosters collaborative learning opportunities, enabling less experienced individuals to gain valuable skills and knowledge while contributing to real-world projects.
Our project seeks to bridge the gap between education and employment by providing a platform where individuals can not only find job opportunities but also gain practical experience through collaborative projects. By facilitating connections between talent and opportunities, we aim to empower individuals to reach their full potential while helping companies find the skilled professionals they need to thrive.
Challenges we ran into
While builduing this project we ran into several points like when creating match score the algorithm and dynamically attains data from MYSQL to JS files and then calculate the score using our Algo. and also as there is a huge difference while preparing using static data and dynamic data do the fetching and using dynamic data and making project in core makes it more difficult but interesting.We solved all the bugs by creating different methods and using fetch function in js to fetch data from one file to another to include each other inner HTMl to showcase datasets.
