The problem herTruth solves

herTruth is a platform that aims to bring the unjust truth about women to light anonymously, in order to address and combat the various issues and injustices faced by women. By providing a safe and anonymous space for women to share their experiences and stories, herTruth can help to shed light on the challenges and discrimination that women face and work towards creating a more equitable and just society. Additionally, by keeping the identities of contributors anonymous, herTruth can help to protect women from potential retaliation or harm for speaking out about their experiences.

Challenges we ran into

One potential challenge could be ensuring the anonymity and security of contributors. It is important to implement strong measures to protect the identity of users who share their stories on the platform, as they may be concerned about retaliation or harm if their identities were revealed.

Another challenge is about inaccurate or misleading information which can undermine the credibility and effectiveness of the solution, and potentially cause harm to individuals or groups. To address this challenge, we are planning on partnering with fact-checking organizations, establishing relationships with experts in relevant fields, and implementing a system for crowd-sourced fact-checking. The information doesn't get out since CID is not made public until the proper authorities have investigated it.

We are also looking forward to implementing ideas like a data vault to secure data and detect multiple false inputs.
