The problem Helping Hand solves
A versatile Android app that empowers users to connect with volunteer opportunities and organizations. Users
build profiles, receive real-time notifications, and discover volunteer opportunities tailored to their skills and
interests. Organizations post needs, and volunteers sign up, track their hours, and even make donations—all in
one convenient platform.
Challenges we ran into
Ok so while implementing notifications services in our app we ran into a problem where only when the app is open only then will the notification will be recieved.
I read many documentations regarding flutter firebase cloud messaging and watched some videos regarding it .
After reading a certain blog on medium i figured out the solution to the problem and then implemented it .
