A simple and accessible virtual health assistant prototype that can be used to create simple tasks and reminders related to medicines and or daily medical intake.
The problem HealthMate. solves
The lack of supported Virtual Health Assistants that are accessible and also rich in information is a major issue for those who do not have access to high-quality doctors and assistants to take them through their day. The app will help, on a large scale for people to manage their medications while also allowing simple doctor-patient communication. The user can manage their own medical intake, be updated with information including advice and tasks presrcibed by their doctor along with adding medications prescribed to them.
Challenges we ran into
Given that this is not a functional application, the main problems came with the ideation and the layout. The ideation was difficult because there was a lack of what we could do with the product. So we researched and figured out different ideas that suited the themes given in the competition information, This allowed us to create a basic functioning prototype of the application. We also ran into problems creating the layout of the app as the technologies we used were very specific about different layout implementations. To get through it, we just revised the documentation and redid our work in order to create the final prototype.
