In addition, we prioritize security and privacy, ensuring that sensitive medical information is protected through advanced encryption and secure authentication methods.
As with any ambitious project, we encountered several challenges along the way:
Authentication Problems: Ensuring that our authentication process was both secure and user-friendly posed a significant challenge. We wanted to maintain high security without making the login process cumbersome. Implementing Privy helped us strike this balance. Database Selection: Choosing the right database type was another hurdle. We needed a solution that could handle structured medical data efficiently. After thorough consideration, we decided on SQL with Node.js and Drizzle ORM, which provided the robustness we required. API Model Selection: Determining the best API model for our AI needs was a critical challenge. After researching various options, we chose the Gemini API for its advanced analytical capabilities, which were essential for delivering accurate medical summaries.
