We came up with the idea of digitalizing medical prescriptions to revamp the medical sector and improve its fluency. We intend to eliminate the hassle and inconvenience caused during treatment procedures due to the unavailability of previous medical data of a patient. Our solution not only improves the accuracy and speed of diagnoses but also aims to enhance communication between healthcare providers by centralizing access to an individual's medical prescription.
Through our web-application, we intend to improve patient engagement by suggesting feeds and healthy routines to improve their overall well-being.
In future builds, we also aim to streamline administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments which would free up more time for healthcare providers to focus on patient care.
Development of this product was essential, and so was making it secure. We had to learn the implementation of Twilio's sms verification system to provide a secure and legitimate method of authentication for users. The implementation was necessary as we were targeting an audience of all age groups. Next, was the challenge of making secure data transfers between clients and medical institutions. To tackle this, we created unique identification ids for each registered user and used the id as the sole mode of authentication for connection between the databases.
