The problem Health Hive solves
Managing healthcare records securely and efficiently has always been a challenge. This project provides a blockchain-based solution that ensures:
Immutability: Patient data cannot be altered or deleted, ensuring trust.
Accessibility: Authorized providers can access records instantly.
Security: Data is stored securely with robust authentication protocols.
It simplifies record management for hospitals and patients, eliminates paperwork, and prevents unauthorized access or tampering.
Challenges I ran into
Integrating Ethereum Smart Contracts with React:
Initially faced difficulties with ABI integration and contract interactions. Solved this by thoroughly testing contract functions in isolation using tools like Remix.
Styling and Animations:
Implementing smooth background animations and responsive design while maintaining performance was challenging. Addressed this by optimizing animations and minimizing CSS conflicts.
Error Handling for Blockchain Transactions:
Dealing with failed transactions or incorrect gas estimations required implementing comprehensive error handling in the front end.
