The Problem HashHorse Solves
Traditional online horse racing and betting platforms often suffer from a lack of transparency, slow payouts, and centralized control that can lead to trust issues and limited accessibility.
How HashHorse Helps
On-Chain Transparency: All bets, races, and payouts are recorded on the blockchain, ensuring fairness and full transparency.
-
Instant Settlements: Winning payouts are processed instantly via smart contracts, eliminating delays common in traditional platforms.
-
Trustless Environment: Users don’t need to trust a central authority with their funds; smart contracts handle all transactions securely and automatically.
-
Accessibility: Anyone with a crypto wallet can join and participate without geographical or institutional restrictions.
-
User Control: Bettors can track their history and funds at any time, increasing control and peace of mind.
By leveraging blockchain technology, HashHorse makes online horse racing betting
Challenges I ran into
Challenges I Ran Into
Building HashHorse solo meant handling everything, from architecture, backend, database, frontend, to syncing with the smart contract (help from a friend who built it). This required constant multitasking and learning across different areas.
To overcome this, I broke the work into clear steps, used reliable tools, and tested thoroughly to ensure smooth contract integration and real-time data sync.
Marketing and growing the community is still a challenge, so I’m focusing on active engagement, user feedback, and incentives like bonuses and free bets.
These challenges sharpened the project and me, and the journey continues!
