The problem handShake solves

In this day and age where startups are blooming across a wide spectrum of fields, it is imperative for investors to find the right ones to invest in. Due to the sheer number of such startups, some may not be able to gain traction or even gather any investors due to a variety of issues. Thus, there arises a need for a platform for bridging the communication gap between entrepreneurs and investors which benefits both parties and addresses the said issues.

Moreover, many startups fail to get the required funding and publicity at their initial phases which eventually results in their shutdown. Especially startups in remote areas as well as small startups in schools and colleges. Thus, there arises a requirement for a platform for the promotion of such budding startups and a platform where investors’ eyes can catch them.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the following changes while making:

• REMOTE WORKING: It was a challenge to ideate and work on a common idea but being in different places. We had to do a lot of meets in the process, but it was a good learning experience.
• PAYMENT INTEGRATION: It was a challenge to integrate a payment gateway into the system. After pulling some strings, we were able to integrate the razorpay payment gateway into the platform. However, payments cannot be done as of now because we haven't put up any account for security reasons.
• DIFFERENT USER LOGINS: For this project, we had to create a user login and signup for two different kinds of users i.e startups and investors having different schemas and collections and integrating them together was a difficult task
