The problem Halo ID solves
Halo ID
"Your Good Deeds. Verified Forever."
In today’s digital world, it’s hard to prove and preserve acts of goodwill in a verifiable way. Whether it’s donating to a cause, volunteering time, or helping communities, most records are either centralized, easily lost, or unverified.
Halo ID creates a permanent, on-chain record of good deeds, enabling individuals and organizations to:
Get recognition for their contributions.
Build a verifiable reputation score based on their social impact.
Inspire transparency in philanthropy, volunteering, and CSR initiatives. It will also generate certificates using your thumb impression and OTP or scan QR code for your achievements of what you did.
This website or app is also named as Safe Chain AI because of its purpose but both the things are same only.
Challenges I ran into
Smart Contract Design: Ensuring deeds were tamper-proof and transparent while still respecting privacy. Solved this by using hashed metadata with selective disclosure.
Gas Optimization: Recording deeds on-chain can be expensive. I implemented batch verification and off-chain storage (IPFS) for media-heavy proofs.
User Experience: Non-crypto users found it difficult to interact with wallets. Added Web2-style onboarding with social login and custodial wallets.
