The problem Hallos solves

Hallos solves a lot of event ticketing issues, like the difficulty and insecurity of reselling tickets, the lack of revenue for artists and event organizers from secondary sales. Using blockchain we can openly share with everyone involved in the event organizing the revenue made and the amount of tickets sold. Also the NFTs are easy to resell in our soon to launch ticket marketplace, so users can safely buy and resell event tickets as NFTs, knowing that each ticket's authenticity and ownership history are securely recorded on the blockchain.We can also set the royalty percentage in the smart contract so that a percentage of the resells are directly sent to the artist or event organizer. 


Traditional ticketing platforms typically see low user interaction outside of the initial purchase and event attendance. Hallos transforms tickets into digital collectibles, encouraging users to interact with the platform before, during, and after the event. By offering exclusive content, merchandise, and community access to NFT ticket holders, Hallos keeps users engaged and invested in their tickets long after the event has ended. This continuous engagement not only enhances the user experience but also builds a loyal community around the platform.

Challenges we ran into

I had initially and issue implementing Account Abstraction and paymaster. I saw that the users that connected their metamask wallet, the Thirdweb connect with account abstraction created them a new Smart Wallet address. So the NFTs were being sent to that address.
What I did was that I used the Smart Wallet to pay for the users gas but then send the NFT to the normal wallet. That way the user still sees that their wallet is connected and the NFT is being sent into their wallet. 


Another big challenge is the UX for non crypto users. Most non crypto users get scared when they hear about blockchain, so we don’t talk about crypto, NFTs or blockchain in Hallos. We talk about collectibles and the benefits the users can get by having a ticket in their account.
