The problem HackTron solves
The chatbot HackTron informs students about forthcoming hackathons, including the rules, schedule , regulations, and awards, as well as the registration procedure, deadline, and eligibility criteria. The bot also responds to a variety of inquiries concerning hackathons. Students can access the bot using Telegram. The bot offers a fantastic user experience and is simple to use and navigate.
Challenges we ran into
We wanted to use a function to update message of user , this function was not present in python- telegram-bot version 20.0 and we were unable to find any alternative function to this. So we had to install previous versions of python and check if update function works/ not . Finally after much efforts we found out that on python- telegram-bot version 13.0 this function worked. Thus , we worked on python- telegram-bot version 13.0 for our project.
