Empowering events, Simplifying collaborations. HackConnect is a platform that gives college societies the opportunity to make money by helping other societies with resources and talent for events.
The problem HackConnect solves
Cultural and technical societies currently face a great deal of obstacles during the process of finding connections and help while planning to host events such as hackathons , seminars , workshops or fests.
Several organisations and individuals also are not able to make themselves visible to communities and events to advertise themselves in return for relevant exposure
Societies still have trouble in gathering gear and resources in an affordable manner while organising events
Older and well established societies have the valuable knowledge of events and have connections and ample experience that is not being shared
Our platform , HackConnect will connect students and communities to each other to share their power and talents in return for perks such as promotion, money or experience
Users (societies) will be able to choose themselves whether they want their services to be paid or for free
HackConnect will also help societies share their gear with other societies for certain events
HackConnect will work as a networking platform for organisations to collaborate and be a haven for community empowerment
Challenges we ran into
Biggest chalenges we ran into were refining the idea with continuous discussion to make sure a good model that helps both college socities as well as events can be figure out.
