The problem Greencoin generator solves

Meme coin summer is hot. And it will get even hotter if we don't do anything about the climate change.

That's why we want to turn meme coins into green coins.

Our smart contracts and dApp allow people to easily deploy ERC20 tokens for close to nothing and trade them against the bonding curve, which no liquidity required.

With every trade we collect "green fees" which are used to purchase Biochar (CHAR) token, which are tokenized biochar carbon credits, available on Base. Then we accumulate CHAR and retire it. That way, every trade has a positive impact on the environment.

The tokens are meant to represent a physical location, think Mount Everest, Niagara Falls etc. Each token has metadata (stored on IPFS) that contains latitude, longitude, image and more. The image, name and location might spark an intrest and attract traders. Main interface of the dApp is a map, which allows for easy discovery of the green coins.

Challenges we ran into

With every trade of a token we wanted to accumulate the fees and donate them on organization that takes care of the area where the green coin is location. Think Mount Everest Conservation Area could get a donation from all the trades made with EVEREST token. It is possible to do, but too complicated to implement in a short time. Therefore we decided to purchase and retire CHAR tokens on Base, for all the green fees collected.
