Challenges I ran into
1. Green Card Integration: Linking unique Green Cards to waste contributions was tricky. We solved this by building a secure custom database system to track and manage user data.
2. Time Constraints: Balancing academic commitments with the development of the website posed significant time management difficulties, we managed academics with the project and divided the work equally to ensure completion.
3. User Engagement: Encouraging consistent participation was tough. We introduced leaderboards and community challenges to boost motivation and engagement.
4. Building a Reward System: Designing a simple and effective reward system to encourage user participation and ensure fair distribution of rewards required multiple adjustments.
