As wider audiences join virtual worlds, the clothes in them should follow accordingly. Dramatic, well-designed game clothes sell better on wearables marketplaces. But designing and creating these requires specific skill sets: 3D, and fashion. These two industries have historically avoided each other, leading to bizarre clothing design as the norm in gaming and a technophobic fashion industry.
