• In this busy world, waiting for the desired bus without
knowing actual arrival/departure time is a terrible play.
• To overcome this problem, an IOT enabled ticket dispenser
system integrated with GPS module is used to track the bus
for knowing the current location.
• By using arithmetic operators the passengers count will be
calculated so that the availability of vacant seats and number
passengers count will be updated in cloud.
• In Contemplation with aforementioned problems, this system
can give us the exact arrival time of the buses at your station,
the number of vacant seats in the arriving bus, the number of
future vacancies that will be created from the current station
to next station.
• P6 outdoor led display : To display number of vacant seats and arrival
time of arriving buses in bus stops.
• Raspberry Pi : For detecting crowd in a bus stop and redirecting buses
to the bus stop which can easily increase the bus owners revenue.
• The real-time crowd analytics is sent to the bus depot so that depots
can send more buses in higher passenger routes & this can easily
increase their revenue.
SOCIETAL IMPACT :
• Users can track the exact location and arrival of the bus so that
there is no need for the passenger to spend more time in bus-stops.
• This makes the user to plan their journey more efficiently and
prevents the user from missing the bus.
• User can check the crowd density of a particular bus and can opt
for a less crowded bus.
• The passenger in bus stops who aren’t have mobile phones can
also be benefitted by means of led display, which displays the
arrival time and number of vacant seats.
