The problem GoLocal solves
Small-scale local vendors often face numerous challenges in reaching their target audience, limiting their growth potential. Additionally, conventional ecommerce platforms charge high fees, further burdening these vendors.
Furthermore, lack of transparency and trust issues are prevalent in the existing centralized systems, discouraging potential customers from supporting local businesses online.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the real time location of the vendors and updating it and sending it to the customer.Getting data from multiple apis at a single time was challenging.Apart from that filtering data as well as implementing web 3 through smart contracts was tought to implement on both the customer and hawkers portal.
