The problem GoCorona Live solves

: As COVID 19 pandemic ranges, people are getting worried about their health day by day. According to TOI, India’s corona virus cases have reached up to 4 million on 5 Sep 2020 and have became 2nd highest recorded cases after US.
Technologists came for help and have made various mobile apps and web apps to contribute the society suffering from pandemic. We as tech enthusiast have united to contribute as much as we can, so we made this project as part of HACK GUJARAT. The project entitled “Hack COVID live” is a web application designed for people to aware them about the corona cases recorded till date. It also tells about the people recovered from COVID 19 and the number of deaths from this disease.
Modules of the project are as follows:
• The web application shows the corona case records according to the specific region in a presentable way through graphs and beautiful user interface.
• It also tells about the nearby hospitals if someone feels symptoms of COVID 19.
• The application provides an option to its users for plasma donation.

Challenges I ran into

We were a newbie for a hackathon and we decided to overcome this fear so, hack Gujarat gave us the chance to put up our potential which would be helpful to the society suffering from COVID 19 pandemic.
There were various technical challenges we faced during the development of the project:
• Biggest challenge was to search for latest API of live corona virus cases.
• We haven’t worked on such project which is tackles the crucial information so here data was the important concern as this would have directly impacted the society.
• To show the nearby hospitals to the user we searched for every other platform to use Places API.
