The problem GoCo Tracker solves

GoCoTracker is a web app build on MEAN(MongoDB, Express, Angular8, NodeJS) that provides you one-stop updates on COVID-19. Not only updates, but It also helps you to find open stores nearby during the quarantine period.
By this web app, we try to minimize the movement of people by providing them a platform to even connect to a doctor on fingertips.

• Amazing live tracking of COVID-19 with beautiful charts and UI.
• Live Updates from the officials in terms of Push Notifications
• Consult a doctor by getting an appointment to nearest doctor
• Get information about nearby open stores so that you never run out of stock and minimize your travel.
• Spreads awareness to fight against COVID-19
• Myths and Whatsapp forwards are trusted easily so, our web app helps burst myths and false rumors.
• Tracks user location and shows custom data according to it like open stores near me.
• Wait, you can even register your store or nearby stores to this amazing app to get found by the people.
• Authorities can maintain a database of patients though this app and mark them positive/negative according to apps.
• Translation in more than 30+ languages.
• A push notification send from our firebase console every morning for updates(manually)
• A chatbot,which can do a screening for COVID-19, tell you nearby open stores, ATMs etc . Something interactive :)

Future aspects:

• Tie up with swiggy/zomato to deliver the essentials at doorsteps with contactless delivery
• Booking to the nearest doctor using geolocation and a more flexed dashboard for doctors to manage his bookings and mark his patients safe/unsafe from this virus.
• Why only COVID-19? We plan to use this app for all emergency situations if they occur ( We hope it doesn't come)
• A form where we can get information from needy people/helpline number and then we can connect them to NGO's by partnering up with them.

Challenges we ran into

Problems:

1. Location-based stores were coming up wrong -- We added the option to change the location manually even.
2. Data of COVID-19 -- We searched a lot then finally got API's that tally each other.
