The problem Glint Analytics solves

Current blockchain analytics solutions are centralized and extractive, failing to fairly incentivize analyst contributions. Analysts often work for free or recognition, leading to burnout and decreased output as rewards diminish.

On Glint, dashboards are minted as NFTs and all interactions are recorded in a form of weighting voting. As our build progresses to production release, these votes will be converts into rewards based on the value the analysts creation provided to the community, as determined by the community themselves.

We are building a community-driven platform that actively rewards proactive analytics and encourages exploration of macro trends, deep diving into protocol sectors, and analysis of emerging blockchains, driving the future of blockchain intelligence.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered several interesting technical challenges that helped shape our platform's evolution.

A significant initial hurdle involved query timestamp handling. While working with blockchain data providers, we discovered their documented example queries would fail silently when requesting older data, without meaningful error messages. We resolved this by implementing robust timestamp validation and clear error handling.

Other major challenges included managing the potential memory footprint of complex queries and implementing reliable failover queue messaging for consistent system performance. Our AI integration required careful optimization to ensure accurate natural language query processing while maintaining efficiency.

The UI/UX design presented another unique challenge: creating an interface that makes complex blockchain analytics accessible to users of varying technical backgrounds. We developed intuitive workflows that maintain power and flexibility while ensuring accessibility.

These challenges drove us to implement better systems that ultimately strengthened our platform's capabilities.
