A platform for crowd-funding open source GitHub projects that combines the power of crypto with the simplicity of web2.

The problem Gitfund solves

The majority of open-source projects struggle to raise funds. Current players like Github sponsors and Gitcoin are not able to adequately address the issue.

The problems:

Limited Funding Options: Current platforms limit donations to fiat currencies or predefined funding mechanisms, restricting reach and flexibility.
Complexity of Crypto Transactions: Many potential donors find cryptocurrency transactions complex and intimidating.
High TAT: Listing and funding projects take too long due to complex UX, sometimes up to months.

We built a platform that leverages the power of crypto while ensuring a web2-like UX to solve the above problems.
