The problem Gig3 solves

Most people have pseudonomus identities in web3 which makes tracking down both freelancers and clients difficult in the space. A system where freelancers can maintain their anonimity while also being able to work on projects they like is necessary and Gigwallet provides exactly that.

We also have the functionality of a smart contract escrow wallet which adds a layer of trust. It enables clients to commit funds to the projects hence minimizing the chance of partial or late payments.

Freelancers can add milestones for each project. Hence projects that hire them pay only for the work that's completed.

Gig3 also serves as a marketplace of credible freelancers and projects building in web3. This feature reduces the effort needed to find the perfect fit. Clients can easily create gigs and freelancers can send their proposals, apply for them and make money on a milestone basis.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we faced was the time crunch of the hackathon.

We also faced issues with integrating push notification implementation and figuring out the flow of the project. It took us a while but we've almost perfected it.
