Challenges I ran into

As a builder with limited coding experience, I wanted to participate in this hackathon and launch a fully functional AI agent — fast.

My goal: build something real that people could use, find, and pay for.

🚧 Challenge 1: Building an on-chain, AI-powered experience without writing smart contracts

I’m not a full-stack developer. I can work with tools like Zapier, FlowXO, n8n, and APIs — but writing and deploying smart contracts from scratch isn’t realistic for me.

✅ Solution: I used FlowXO to orchestrate the conversation and backend logic, combined with OpenAI API for image generation and pre-built contracts to handle the minting step. This let me launch an agent without ever writing Solidity.

🚧 Challenge 2: How do people discover and try the agent?

Launching an agent isn’t enough — it needs visibility. If users can’t find it, it’s just a prototype sitting in a corner.

✅ Solution: I used Aventino to make the agent discoverable within a growing directory of wallet-native agents. This turned it from a private test to something others could try instantly.

🚧 Challenge 3: Monetization — can it actually get paid?

I didn’t just want to make a bot. I wanted it to show economic value: could it handle real payments from real users?

✅ Solution: I connected the checkout flow to Coinbase Wallet, allowing users to mint NFTs by paying just 1 USDC directly from their wallet. The entire flow — from chat to payment to mint — works natively, without needing extra apps or setups.

This project wasn’t about proving I can code — it was about proving that anyone can now build and publish a real AI agent that gets discovered, used, and paid — all without writing a single line of blockchain code.
