The problem GemTrace solves
Gem Trace solves these issues by creating an unbreakable blockchain record of each gemstone's journey, ensuring transparency, stopping illegal trade funding, and saving lives through verified ethical sourcing.
Challenges I ran into
As a Solo hacker it was challening to create the Front end, Backend and Contracts. Also had issues with Pinata integration when deploying it on Vercel app. More thought process was spent on thinking about the MVP for the problem. As I had to simplyfy as much as possible.
