We are developing a gaming website named as ‘Game-Arena’ which offers collection of multiple old school games we all used to enjoy as kids and still experience the same joyful experience while playing
The problem Game-Arena solves
We’ll be inculcating multiple old school games so that the users can have the same
experience as they used to have as children.
• Keeping it interactive, the younger generation will be able to experience the taste of old
school games .
• We’ll be keeping all the games at one place so users don't to have to find them separately.
Providing one stop station, we’ll be providing all games at one place so users don’t
have to navigate through different websites.
• By developing a website which consists the most famous old school games, the
younger generation won’t have to go through different games just to find the good ones
they’ll like.
Challenges we ran into
We really struggled in making the main page look clean as there were multiple files, images and dividing them into different parts which make them look clean was a difficult part, we had div different parts of the page and align them respecitvely so that they can be differentiated. We also struggled while creating the logics for game on how they would work specially in slither but then we finally cracked it by deciding that we would part the screen into a particular section of pixel where each box of certain dimensions would represent a box and by striking a counter variable we were able to increment the value of that one box in the length of the slither which when touches the red box gets incremented by one value or by one box and its length increases. It was a rollercoaster while making this project while facing the problems but with patience and team work we were able to overcome the bugs and difficulties in deciding the logic.
