Problems Identified on all social apps

Low content quality – most platforms reward noise, not real value.

Influencer-driven hype – attention goes to popularity, not creators’ actual skill or consistency.

Challenges I ran into

We had issues with defining Quality for the FAKE Engine but we have been making progress as to how we define Quality based on the data we compiled from various social apps. We want to ensure these issues doesn't repeat itself on the base app, so we are taking our time to ensure that we get the FAKE Engine logic right before releasing the v1 for the FAKE Engine.

Overview

FUUM (FAKE it Until U Make it) is the reward layer for quality on the base app.
The F.A.K.E engine means it Filter, Analyze, Keep, and Elevate your content & miniapps until you break through. It’s not about hype, it’s about quality scaling you to rewards and virality.
FUUM is a gamified platform on the base app designed to make creators, builders, and communities on Base go viral on the base app through their quality posts and miniapps. Through a unique staking subscription model on every quality post scanned by the FAKE engine and a competitive global yearly event, creators and builders can now go viral because of quality rather than hype or farmed followers or engagement.

FUUM blends social engagement, collectibles, and rewards to create an ecosystem where Quality becomes a tradable asset.
At its core, FUUM turns Quality into a high-stakes, continent-based competition where only the most Quality win the coveted Base Viral Pass — unlocking access to elite visibility, collaborations, and exclusive Base opportunities.

F.A.K.E = Filter. Analyze. Keep. Elevate.
Filter – FUUM scans your content & miniapps across the Base app.
Analyze – The engine checks quality, engagement, and creativity.
Keep – Only valuable, authentic contributions are retained in the FUUM layer.
Elevate – The best work gets rewarded with FUUM Points (your path to making it).
Final Note
This is not just a token or airdrop play, FUUM is an onchain movement that flips the focus on the message (quality contents & miniapps) over the messenger (creator & builder). Your Quality is your power that gives you Virality. The more quality you put on the base app either as a creator or as a builder, the closer you are to becoming one of the 280 legends that goes viral each year.
